Concrete Pump Truck Operator
Duties
- Operate concrete pumps on construction sites, ensuring precise placement of concrete.
- Collaborate with construction Project Management team to plan and execute concrete pouring schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Report issues to Fleet Manager.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and coordinate with Fleet Manager to make repairs as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Maintain clean truck and pump at all times.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other crew members regarding project progress.
- Willingness to operate other Class 8 trucks (boom, roll off) as company needs and schedule dictate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating concrete pumps in a commercial driving capacity strongly preferred. Willing to train outstanding candidates that currently hold their Commerical Driver's License.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and installation processes strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid commercial driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation are a plus, willingness to obtain MA Hoisting 4D license required (company will assist).
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
